PetSafe Pet Doors
Give your pet the next best thing to an opposable thumb – the ability to access areas behind closed doors with a PetSafe Pet Door.
What are pet doors?
Pet doors are basically doors, designed for pets for various purposes. They may be installed in standard doors or walls. There are electronic pet doors that you can program to select which pets can use the door and when they can use it. Pet doors come in various designs and sizes in order to fit any pet. Dog doors for sliding glass are also available as are flaps for a screen door.
How can my pet and I benefit from a pet door?
PROTECTION. You can use an automatic pet door to keep your pets inside your home at night or at specific times. Simply set a time when the door will be locked for all pets and when it will be open again. This gives you control over your pet’s access to certain areas, particularly areas that may pose harm to them. A PetSafe PASSport or magnetic key pet door gives only your pets, wearing the special collar key, access to the door, ensuring stray animals can’t come in.
CONVENIENCE. Give your dog anytime access to his bathroom. Many housetraining problems stem from the dog being able to communicate his need to ‘go out’ to his human. Save yourself the effort of letting your pet in and out and help your dog avoid an accident by giving him the freedom to go out anytime he needs to. A PetSafe pet door allows your pet to go to the “potty area” without your help. If you are worried about all of your pets finding their way out of the door, don’t! PetSafe offers automatic pet doors or selective entry pet doors that allow you to program which pets can enter or go out of the door. The electronic key in your pet’s collar will be read by the door and this will signal the door to allow entry or not based on the setting you’ve created.
PRIVACY. We know you only want the best for your beloved pets. So why not get PetSafe’s pet door and provide your little ball of fur with his/her very own private space. With a PetSafe Dog Doors, it’s easy to give your dog or cat access to areas behind closed doors. Install an interior pet flap to give your cat access to her litter while keeping it out of sight (or smell) and keeping Roven from finding his way into your cat’s litter box.
