Every Perimeter In-Ground Fence offers the following high tech features:

Temp Check, Wire Check, & Battery Check: These three features work together to keep your system running smoothly even when the environment around it changes.  Some systems have a huge variation in signal strength when temperatures change. The temp check features ensure an even signal output regardless of external temperature changes. This feature ensures that your boundary zone varies less than 5" in temperatures from 40 to 90 degrees. The Wire Check feature uses advanced circuitry to keep your system working even when the perimeter wire has sustained damage. If the wire is completely severed, a constant audible alarm will sound to alert you to the wire break. Battery Check saves you time and money by automatically checking the collar battery output every two hours. Since battery output regularly varies due to operating conditions, this feature will only let a true low battery set off the low battery indicator. 

Waterproof, Polycarbonate Receiver Collars: Polycarbonate plastic is a very tough but also lightweight material perfect for dog fence receiver collars. The lightweight nature of this plastic receiver makes it suitable for most dogs while the rugged durability can take a beating from large or rough dogs. The Perimeter Technologies In-Ground Dog Fence Receivers are completely waterproof and submersible. 

Replaceable Lithium Ion Battery: Perimeter Technologies in-ground dog fence collars rely on user replaceable litium-ion batteries. These batteries offer the biggest 'bang for your buck' being both lighter weight than nickel metal hydride and also offering a longer runtime. Replaceable batteries offer a more consistent battery life than rechargeable cells, which have a diminishing output as the battery loses charge. 

Digital Frequency Encoding & Omni-Directional Signal Detection: The digital frequency encoding feature ensures that your dog fence signal is not interrupted or affected by a neighboring dog fence or other signal-generating devices. Additionally, Perimeter pet fences operate on 7 KHz, which is already a less widely used band. The omni-directional signal detection means that the Perimeter receiver collar has signal detection operating on three planes ensuring that the signal is received constantly regardless of how or where your pet is standing or moving.

Comfort Contacts & Custom Progressive Correction: Perimeter Technologies offers a unique custom contact point that is more comfortable for your pet and reduces the chance of irritation on your pet's neck. These metal-infused rubber contact points are especially good for pets with sensitive skin. Five correction programming options are available for each collar on the system at any given time. With this custom programming each dog's collar can be individually programmed making the Perimeter In-Ground Fence system perfect for households with multiple dogs of varying sizes. Perimeter Technologies Receiver Collars feature progressive correction based on your dog's distance from the boundary and the speed at which he is travelling. By constantly assessing the distance and speed the computer collar always uses the right intensity level to keep your dog safely at home. 

Anti-Linger & Safety Shut Off: Some dogs learn to sit in the warning zone, letting the warning tone sound until the collar battery is drained and the dog is able to walk across the perimeter un-corrected... smart, right?!? Perimeter guards against this with an anti-linger feature that will issue a very low level correction if your dog lingers in the warning zone. The safety shut-off feature ensures that the correction never continues for more than 20 seconds. Should your dog panic in the correction zone the correction will automatically time-out after 20 seconds.
