The Dogtek Receiver Collar is compact and very durable. The fully waterproof collar is suitable for water installations.
The collar is not rechargeable, using a common 3-volt battery with an average lifespan of 6 months. The collar lacks a low battery indicator light so the test lamp must be used regularly to check for low battery level.
Featuring 8 individually adjustable correction levels plus a tone-only training mode, the system offers quite a bit of flexibility making it a good choice for multi-dog households where the dogs vary in size or temperament.

I can say it works as it says, but there really is no way to tell if the battery is dead unless you test it or your dog escapes. While I'm satisfied with the product, I would probably upgrade if this breaks one day. (Posted on 4/6/2013)Quality Value Price - Good / Not Top Of the Line

This is a ok product. I have had no problems. It doesn't have features like a rechargeable battery and a low battery indicator light (but does come with a tester). So it isn't as high tech as some, but it works well, is durable, and is waterproof. Mediocre at best though. (Posted on 3/21/2013)Quality Value Price - Great Extra collar
