Electric dog fence training flags create a visual perimeter letting your dog know where his new boundaries are. The flags are installed at 4-6 ft. intervals all along your perimeter wire as well as along any exclusion zones you've created. The flags will remain in place during the training phase and will be gradually removed once your dog is fully trained and comfortably using the system.

Dog Fence Training flags are used to give your dog a good visual aid as to where you dog fence boundary runs. Flexpetz.com recommends placing your training flags every 4 feet apart or closer to give your dog the best visual boundary possible. These dog fence training flags are temporary - once your dog is completely trained on the new fence system you'll slowly remove the training flags. Flexpetz training flags are larger than the factory grade flags included with your electric dog fence system, making them easier for your dog to see from a distance.

When we decided to take our portable system on vacation, I was worried about the dogs learning their boundaries. I hadn't saved our original flags. So, I bought a pack and put them up all around the area of our camper. The dogs remembered the flags and knew right away what was going on. Worked perfectly. You are probably going to laugh about why I bought these. My neighbor bought a system from Flexpetz and I saw these flags in her yard. I asked her about them. I ended up ordering a system, too, at a later time because she loved hers. But I ordered the flags right away for my garden. I used a sharpie to right on each one what was planted in that section. I set up my in ground fence so that my dog would have his area to run about. I was not too sure about how everything would turn out. Everything that I was worried about was already accounted for. After it was all set up I noticed that I spaced the Training flags a nice bit apart from one another. I decided it would benefit us to order some extra flags. I did order 50 extras and it only costed me $ 8.95 and the extra flags made it far mor easier to give my dog a visual point of reference in terms of his bounds within the flags. Once he was comfortable within his bounds I slowly began to remove the flags and I still got the same results as if the flags were still in place, so in all the training flags helped a great deal in the process and now he respects the boundaries without question.
