I decided to use waterproof splices I made a great decision. 5 years later the waterproof splices are still holding up and no wire breaks have occurred. I highly recommend these splices. I was very concerned about a wire break repair I needed to make. My concern was the split in the wire. I thought it would always be a weak spot. The tech at flexpetz showed me these professional wire splices. Sounded good over the phone and I was even more impressed when I installed them. They snap down air tight with silicon jelly to drive out moisture. Worth every penny for the longevity of the system.Quality Value Price

In part I am writing to review this product, but in part to review the customer service. This is a great product. I'm glad that I ordered more because I did need more than the amount that came with my fence kit. I make the mistake of breaking my wire and using electrical tape to repair the break. I didn't realize that moisture can seep in through the tape and get to the dog fence wire.Quality Value Price
All of the breaks I repaired with tape started to rust. It ended up I needed to replace my whole wire. Now, I know to only use waterproof connectors when making repairs. (Posted on 1/23/2013)
