This wire is so much cheaper than a 15 acre wooden fence. By cheaper I mean less expensive because by no means is this wire "cheaply made". It is more like a cable than a wire. It is very strong and durable and I am glad that I purchased this. I feel secure in knowing that my system will not have a break in the wire. Which is good, because a 15 acre area is not easy to find a break I would imagine. I ended up laying out most of the spool, glad it was continuous so that I did not have to splice a lot.Price Quality Value
When it comes down to prices, I saved a fortune on this type of fence to contain my dog. 4000 feet of chain link would have required a small fortune and I feel would require more maintenance. Thanks again for the awesome product and customer service you all provide.

I don't know of any other place that carries this eXtreme brand wire. I like it because of the thicker insulation around it than other 14 gauge wires. It also comes in larger lengths.Price Quality Value
If I'm correct, the Flexpetz just started carrying it in the larger spools. 4000 feet is perfect for a 3800' requirement. I would rather have the extra 200' of wire on the single spool than to have to splice together different spools of wire to reach the 3800' length.
I'm glad I found Flexpetz, because they have wire that nobody else has, but that I really value.
