Their fiber content and phytochemical content are just more good reasons to give your dog blueberries. Blueberries are the perfect size for tossing up in the air for your dog to catch.
Cantaloupe is also a good fruit for dogs to eat in moderation, as it is high in sugar. Cantaloupe is full of nutrients, it is low in calories, and is an abundant source of fiber and water. Just be sure that if you have an overweight dog or a dog with diabetes, to limit their intake of this delicious fruit.
Veterinarians agree that oranges are also a good fruit choice for a dog. An excellent source of Vitamin C, oranges are also high in potassium and fiber. Just be sure to peel off the rind and take out the seeds before feeding oranges to your dog.

Fruits You CANNOT Feed Your Dog
Dogs should never ever eat grapes. This goes for raisins as well. No matter the dog’s breed, sex or age, grapes are toxic. In fact, grapes are such a toxic fruit for dogs that they can lead to sudden acute kidney failure.
Dogs should never eat cherries. Cherry plants contain cyanide, and are toxic to dogs. If your dog has accidentally ingested cherries, he or she may not be able to breathe properly.
